Our academic foundation

We use the official NERDC subject offerings as the framework for learning from JSS 1 through SS 3.
Teachers translate those approved offerings into termly schemes of work, daily lessons, practical activities and assessment tasks that respond to learners’ readiness and keep every subject connected to the real world.

Junior secondary · JSS 1–3
A broad, practical foundation.
The current NERDC offering for JSS 1–3 combines language, numeracy, science, citizenship, creativity, digital capability, business and trade learning.
Reasoning & discovery
Mathematics, Intermediate Science and Digital Technologies develop logical, scientific and digital fluency.
Identity & citizenship
Nigerian History, Social and Citizenship Studies, plus CRS or Islamic Studies as applicable.
Creative & healthy living
Cultural and Creative Arts and Physical & Health Education support expression, wellbeing and teamwork.
Enterprise & skills
Business Studies and one trade subject introduce practical capabilities and enterprising thinking.
